Paris, Jour 7

It seems that the Catacombs will be my Unicorn in Paris, the same way the Vermilion Gates are in Kyoto:  Elusive, yet an excuse to come back.  We arrived at the Catacombs just minutes after they opened and already the line was wrapped around the block in a way that can only be described as absurd.  At first it moved quickly, but them slowed to a crawl and after an hour in line (with an estimated 1.5 to 2h to go, plus another hour in the catacombs themselves), we decided to cut our losses and return to the apartment so that we could check out on time.

Once everything with the apartment was settled, we headed over to the Airport Holiday Inn (we have a very early flight tomorrow), grabbed some sushi for dinner and then watched a movie before bed.
