The plane ride was…normal. My seat was right by the food preparation station so I was able to find out in advance what food we were about to be served. That and I heard the flight attendants tell people that they were out of all forms of Coke about 20 times. Who knew that so many people drank Coke? I didn’t have my own TV monitor, so I made it halfway through a 600-page book instead.
I was hoping to get cleaned up a bit before I saw E, but his flight got in earlier than expected. My disappointment was so great that I spent the next six hours sobbing on and off.
On the plus side I managed to ship my giant bag directly to my house. E and I spent the night in – woke up around 4 am, chatted for an hour, ate some airplane snacks and fell back asleep.
