I know that everyone has at least one journal entry titled “Nothing really,” so my apologies for being unoriginal, but I really don’t have anything interesting to say. A few updates: 1) It has come to my attention that some of you can’t see the pictures that I’ve posted. I’ve been uploading my pictures to shutterfly and then using the picture address for the link. I can see the pictures just fine on my computer and so I’m trying to figure out why you can’t see them on yours. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Better yet, if anyone knows a good place (i.e. free and not pop-up-tastic) to upload pictures, drop me a line. 2) On a related note, do any of your computers support Japanese text? Or do you just see boxes where my comment link should be? I only ask because I was looking at my journal today on a different computer and saw the boxes. I have no idea how my computer became Japanese-friendly. It probably has some sort of Asian-fetish that I don’t know about. 3) I love my new speakers! They are a lot smaller than the old ones and not as loud, but they are more portable (like across the Pacific, maybe?) and they still produce good sound. They have unfortunately spurred a brief obsession with my music and my computer and how to combine the two. Unfortunately only because my back hurts from hunching over the screen and because I’ve yet to study for my Japanese test tomorrow. 4) I’ve found a snowboard that I like. I’ve also found a backpack that I like. The backpack is for traipsing around Japan for two weeks and the snowboard is for, well, snowboarding obviously (duh). I suppose I should get Lizzie’s expert opinion before I buy them though, seeing how she works in two outdoor stores. I’m trying not to think about how much they cost. Well, off to work again. Until next time…
